Hi, I’m Milada—a certified lash and tattoo artist. I was born in the former Yugoslavia, where I spent my early years before the Civil War broke out when I was twelve. It was a difficult time, but through the chaos, something beautiful happened—I met my husband. Together, we built a new life in the United States and eventually became proud citizens.

Starting over in a new country wasn’t easy. I had to learn a new language on my own and adapt without much support, but I’m proud of the life I’ve built here. I have two incredible daughters, Lea and Iva, and I spent 13 years working as a dental assistant in Old Saybrook, Connecticut.

Still, I was always drawn to beauty and cosmetics. I’ve always loved the idea of helping people feel more confident in their own skin. In 2018, I had my eyebrows microbladed—something that boosted my confidence in a way I hadn’t expected. That moment inspired me to pursue my passion full-time.

Now, through my work, I hope to give others that same feeling of confidence and self-love. It’s what drives me every single day.
